Basic Fees

Please contact You Said It! directly to confirm current rates.

All fees are set in accordance with surveys conducted by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and the Alberta Speech-Language Association of Private Practitioners (ASAPP). ASAPP surveys its members annually regarding their rates. Rates are set based on practitioner training, experience, business overhead, time required for professional service, and the complexity and scope of the service.

Based on the January 2017 ASAPP survey results, clients can expect to pay within a range of $115 - $160 per hour for speech-language pathology services in Alberta, Canada.  Please visit www.asapp.ca for more information.

All fees are charged in Canadian dollars.

Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (CRA) consideres fees paid to a private speech-language pathologist to be a tax-deductible medical expense.

There is no charge for cancelled appointments if cancelled 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

If the therapist travels to the scheduled appointment and the client is not available or not present, a missed appointment fee will be charged.
